Original Stanley Mouse watercolor painting. Signed, and dated 1991. I think it’s possible it could have been a mock-up for a Jerry Garcia album cover that didn’t end up getting used. That’s total conjecture though. Kind of a reverse image of the ‘Cats Under the Stars’ album cover artwork. It was purchased directly from Mouse at an art exhibition in CA by a serious rock art collector. I purchased this piece and two original rock photos from his collection via a dealer. The painting has been professionally framed and matted in a nice presentation. The blue matting matches Mouses color choices nicely. The exposed image is roughly 9.5” wide by 11” tall. The frame is 16” x 18”. This is a really interesting painting and very unique relative to the rest of his work available on the market currently. I will ship free, ASAP. Thanks
