LCT TIFFANY, GOLD FAVRILE, RUFFLED SALT, EXCELLENT IRIDESCENCE~~~

Description

For auction is an original Tiffany Favrile salt made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The salt stands 1" tall and is 2 1/2" in diameter at its widest point. The foot or the bottom of the salt is 1 7/8".
There are 8 individual ruffles. The Gold Favrile, Aurene luster or iridescence inside and outside the salt is just outstanding!!! You can see very beautiful strong hues of platinum blues throughout. The platinum iridescence on the bottom is so strong it actually looks blue when held at an angle. There is a definite difference between Tiffany Favrile salts as some are weak in the iridescence and some are not. This one is exceptional. You can also see vertical ribbing between the ruffles. This gold salt is part of the "Queen" pattern in the Tiffany Favrile catalog.
This Tiffany Salt is in excellent condition as I cannot find anything wrong with it. There isn't even scratches or iridescence loss to the piece. It appears to have used minimally. The salt is signed with the etched "L.C.T." along the bottom edge in a counter clockwise fashion. The salt also displays a counter sunk polished pontil. The finishing sign of a quality piece of art glass.
If you are looking for a salt to add to your collection that is considered to be a beautiful example, look no further!! Do not let this one slip by you! This piece was made circa 1900-1920.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
merchandise
unless it is paid for.
They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.7% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.7%. This is an increase of 8.8% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.7% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
