Since the introduction of D-STAR in 2001, Icom has been committed to improving and advancing the D-STAR experience. The ID-4100A and it’s advance technology does just that! The upgraded user interface and new enhancements provide a product other digital voice modes cannot match!
User friendly
The ID-4100A’s full dot-matrix display gives the user the ability to see a lot of information on the screen. For example, Repeater list or GPS position information are clearly arranged and easy to read.
The DV/FM near repeater search function assists you in accessing nearby repeaters, even in areas you visit for the first time. The function searches for nearby repeaters using the repeater memories with the GPS position information. To use the near repeater search function, the position data of the repeater is required. The ID-4100A will ship with the D-STAR repeater memories preprogrammed, but the position data of some D-STAR repeaters may not be entered or exact.
Built-in GPS
The integrated GPS receiver shows your own position, course, speed and altitude on the display and can be used for exchanging position reports, D-PRS and searching for nearby repeaters.
Voice & data storage
Add a microSD* card to store various information including voice memory, TX voice message, QSO log, RX history log, and GPS log data. Memory channels and other settings can be saved and loaded into the transceiver.
* MicroSD card is sold separately.
Android and iOS apps available
Install the UT-137 Bluetooth® board and download the RS-MS1I (for iOS devices) or RS-MS1A (for Android devices) to enable you to wirelessly connect to the ID-4100A and remotely set the DR functions, link with a map application, and send/receive messages over the DV mode. In addition, pictures taken by a smart device can be transmitted via the DV Fast Data mode or DV mode.

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible. GigaParts ships from multiple locations across the USA, so a portion of your order may come from two different warehouses. All orders are shipped in 1 business day!

GigaParts offers a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects on all NEW items sold on eBay. Most items will offer a longer factory warranty, please contact the product's manufacturer for specific warranty information. GigaParts can only warranty items that are in NEW condition, unmodified, with the original packaging materials, manuals, accessories, warranty cards, and UPC tags in NEW condition. Items not in NEW condition should be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service.
Modifications void your warranty (especially radio MARS/CAP modifications). While radio manufacturers will typically take the cause of any problem into consideration, there is no guarantee that they will warranty your radio if it has been modified, even if the modification was not the cause of the defect. Modified radios do not qualify for direct replacement unless GigaParts performed the modification. We guarantee our MARS/CAP modifications will not void the manufacturer’s warranty for a period of 1 year. However damage caused by transmitting outside the ham bands may not be covered under warranty. Generally, radios that have been modified after purchase are not returnable.
If your order was damaged in shipping or appears to have been opened prior to delivery, please notify the delivery driver and report the problem to GigaParts within 2 business days. Claims for items missing from your shipment must be reported to GigaParts within 2 business days of delivery and the shipping box and all packaging materials must be retained until the claim is settled. Shipping cartons are designed to protect your item while in transit and damage to boxes or packaging materials is not grounds for a claim unless the actual item sustained damage.

GigaParts accepts returns for refund or replacement within 30 days of the original invoice date.
Defective items can be returned for a full refund or replacement. Items returned as defective will be tested to verify all claims. After testing, if the item is found to be functioning properly, the buyer may incur restocking and/or shipping fees being deducted from the refund.
GigaParts will provide a pre-paid return label for defective returns so long as the item is shipping within the continental USA (lower 48 states). For products shipped outside of the continental USA (lower 48 states), the buyer is responsible for return shipping, even on defective items.
Non-defective returns for refund or exchange are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. If your order was shipped, refunds for orders shipped with free freight will be charged the shipping costs. Refusal of shipments may be subject to additional charges and refunds and exchanges for these items will not be processed until the shipment has returned to our dock. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping fee's for non-defective returns.
