Elecraft K3 Ham Radio Transceiver (new in factory box, fully loaded)

This transceiver (
serial number 6728)
came from a longtime ham who was designing a world-class contest station. Unfortunately, health concerns have forced him to abandon those plans. As a result, this factory-built transceiver is offered for sale in it's factory box having never been fired up! It's loaded with options, in fact I believe it has every option that Elecraft offered. Please see a screen shot of the invoice to see what's all included... it adds up to a cost that exceeds 00 when purchased new!

We get too many returns requests stating "it doesn't work"... only to find the buyer had no idea how to use the equipment correctly and never read the manual. We're happy to answer a questions if you're stuck, but we ask that you do your due diligence. This is especially true if you are a new ham operator or haven't operated this type of equipment in the past.
SHIPPING/PACKAGING:
We ship all orders within one business day and you'll typically receive your item within a week. Please note that your order may be delivered by FedEx, UPS, or USPS. If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item. The shipping quote includes postage, packaging material, and insurance. Regarding our packaging, review our feedback (99.9% positive with roughly 20,000 transactions) and you'll see that many buyers describe our packaging as the best they've experienced on eBay. We only use
new
and
quality
materials (no flimsy boxes or crumbled newspaper) and even have a 00 foam-in-place system for use on larger items!
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE SALE:
You will only receive what is shown in the photographs. If you do not see it in the photos, it is likely not included in the sale. That includes manuals, packaging, power cords, accessories, and so on. If you have questions about what is included, please ask

RETURNS:
If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of delivery. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label, however it is your responsibility to ensure that the item is well protected. If a returned item is found to be damaged or incomplete (missing parts/accessories), we reserve the right to issue a partial refund. Also, the original shipping paid at checkout will only be refunded if the order was found to be not as described. If you've ordered the wrong item of simply changed your mind, we will not reimburse the cost of shipping the item to you.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
All international transactions will include a
non-negotiable
handling charge equal to 5% of the item's sale price. This covers the expense of eBay's new "international fee" as well as the cost of insurance. If you do not agree to this 5% handling charge, please do not proceed with the purchase.
