IMPORTANT
: check system compatibility with your frequency requirements:
System RF coverage: 150-174 MHz. Min. 4.5 MHz split between Tx and Rx frequencies.
System synthesizer channel steps: 5.0 kHz or 6.25 kHz
(Your operating frequencies must be
evenly divisible
by 5.0 or 6.25 kHz!)
System can operate Analog or P25 (or mixed-mode receive)
Receiver can operate carrier squelch, CTCSS tone squelch, or DCS digital squelch.
The repeater utilizes Daniels Electronics modules with very low current drain and especially designed for portable operations. (Same system as used for wildland fire repeaters throughout the U.S. and Canada.)
Standby current drain for the repeater is a few hundred mA
compared to 2-amps for the typical repeater system making it ideal for portable use or installation at solar-powered sites.
Operates from 10-17 VDC with 10-ft. DC power cable with Anderson connector or cigarette lighter plug, as desired.
